JOB PURPOSE

 

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental legislation and permits, based on the Company policies and business objectives to have a safe manufacturing process.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Maintain and apply knowledge of current policies, regulations, and industrial processes to keep the employees educated on the safety standards.
  2. Promote EHS culture in all employees to prevent accidents in Electrophysiology area
  3. Recommend process and product safety features to reduce employee’s exposure to chemical, physical, and biological work hazards.
  4. Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance.
  5. Investigate industrial accidents and observations, injuries, or occupational diseases to determine causes and preventive measures.
  6. Compile, analyze, and interpret statistical data related to occupational illnesses and accidents for managerial decisions to ensure a safety environment.
  7. Coordinate, participate and execute with other areas the safety and environmental activities/audits/assessments according to global and local requirements to ensure the compliance of the standards.
  8. Provide Support as a member of the Energy Management Team assuring the continuous improvement in environmental management.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education       

Maintenance Technician, electronics, electricity, precision or related field

Hight School Diploma

 

Knowledge and skills

  • Technical problem-solving knowledge
  • TPM (Total Productive Maintenance Time) and SMED (Tool Change in Minutes) work methodologies knowledge
  • Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office
  • Basic English
  • Proactivity
  • Teamwork
  • Availability to work Overtime

Experience    

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in maintenance positions or related
  • Basic hand tool handling
  • Basin knowledge in Safety rules.
  • Medical devices machinery experience
