Job Purpose

Coordinate the work activities and resources of the lines under their charge, according to manufacture products in accordance with the manufacturing specifications, cost, and established requirement, complying with the EHS/QA policies and budget in accordance with the standards. established by the company. 

 

Major responsibilities 

  • Organize the employees, materials, equipment, and other resources to accomplish the plan attainment and KPIs in daily, weekly and monthly way in concordance whit the budget.  
  • Implementing and monitoring strategies, policies and productions plans to drive results through the organization.
  • Monitor and control Production’s KPIs, ensuring the materials and preventive actions to avoid line downs. 
  • Assuring constant communication whit technical team to take prevention actions avoiding manufacturing interruptions
  • Ensure the training in different operations for the employees to accomplish the quality, EHS and manufacturing regulations including the certifications. Including the good Manufacturing practices and good documentation practices.
  • Supervise the Production lines to involve during the manufacturing process and intervene in possible risks of quality, EHS, ergonomic, scrap or the SPC of the product 
  • Close the Production orders assuring the control of variances, accuracy data of the materials, labor and machines according to the targets.
  • Propose and implement continuous improvement actions, focused to have manufacturing operational excellence area
  • Research the actions related to CAPA, NCRs, to propose improvements in terms of quality, safety and requirements of the products.
  • Keep an adequate organizational environment to promote the values and Culture of HMCR
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Align with other areas the resources and internal services from customer services, warehouse, logistic and planning to accomplish the agreement with the customers. 
  • Identify and manage the conflicts in the production lines promoting teamwork, communication, empathy as part of adequate organizational environment.
  • Coordinate and control the budget of the area ensuring the targets and variances during the year.
  • Perform the approval hours and over time every biweekly to ensure the correct payment to employees
  • Transferences products (NPI) – work closely with the Project Manager on regards operator hiring, training and task that should be delivered. Being able to work on the transfer as a versatile role to support any additional request   

 

Requirements

  • Engineering bachelor’s degree or related field.
  • Excellent bilingual (English/Spanish) verbal and writing communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing.
  • Promote opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Developed leadership competencies.
  • Flexible and quick prioritizing manufacturing customer requirements.
  • Solid experience leading people.
  • +8-10 years in similar positions.

 

Preferred

  • Master´s Degree (MS).
  • +5 years in medical companies (catheters).
  • Yellow Belt or Green Belt.
  • Normative ISO13485.
  • Knowledge of CFR 21.
