Job Purpose
To plan, control closure of product transfer process to HMCR in alignment with company strategy and in compliance with applicable regulations and Quality Systems for compliance, in constant interaction with the customer for negotiation and strategic decisions to closure of product transfer process to HMCR comply on time according to expectations and budget.
Major responsibilities
- Manage and direct project activities needed to achieve project objectives, with a strong understanding of resources, skills, and timing necessary to meet competing project schedules.
- Performance with cross-functional leadership and customers to create an aligned the overall project plan.
- Create and communicate the status of the projects in an anticipated way to mitigate risk whit the cross functional teams and customers.
- Keep under control the project(s) through the proactive communication including timelines, budget and cost, resources and others to align the status of the project with stakeholders.
- Evaluate and mitigate project budget variation to ensure correct budget execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or superior) in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Expert level knowledge and application of project management tools, processes, and best practices using multiple project management methodologies.
- Established history of building strong teams and cross-functional relationships.
- Proven competence in completing projects according to established scope, budget, and timelines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in spoken and written business English and Spanish.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with a diverse group of project stakeholders including customers, executives, peers, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Extensive experience guiding teams in risk assessment and mitigation activities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effectively communicate complex information with varying levels of collaborators, including customers and stakeholders.
- Establish strong ownership of the full project life cycle, driving successful results through leadership from initiation to deployment of the project.
- Strong knowledge and application of finance fundamentals as related to projects.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience.
- Transfer Process Projects implementation.
- Continuous Improvement Projects implementation.
Preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Master’s degree in project management.
