The following challenges await you:
- As Enterprise Architect (m/f/d) AI Governance & Architecture, you will shape, position and further develop the Enterprise Architecture discipline with a dedicated focus on Artificial Intelligence within the Heraeus Group.
- You will define and evolve enterprise-wide AI reference architectures, architecture principles, guardrails and decision frameworks to ensure that AI initiatives are scalable, secure, compliant and aligned with the overall business and IT strategy.
- In close collaboration within IT, the AI & Digitalization Office and key stakeholders such as Information Security, Legal, Compliance, Data Protection and Risk Management, you will help establish a consistent and pragmatic approach to AI governance across the group.
- You will contribute to the further development of the AI governance process, ensuring that current and future regulatory requirements, internal policies and enterprise architecture standards are appropriately reflected in architectural decision-making.
- Furthermore, you will support the evaluation, classification and prioritization of AI-related initiatives and use cases from an enterprise architecture perspective, considering business value, architectural fit, risk, compliance, reusability and long-term portfolio impact.
- You will help build transparency across the AI application and technology portfolio, identify synergies, avoid unnecessary complexity and promote reusable capabilities, platforms and patterns across the organization.
- You will consult and advise IT, business and AI teams on architectural best practices for AI-enabled solutions, ensuring alignment with defined enterprise architecture standards, target architectures and governance guidelines.
- Last but not least, you will establish and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, business partners, architects and governance bodies to ensure close alignment between business ambitions, AI opportunities and enterprise-wide architectural integrity.
Your profile:
- Several years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, IT architecture, business architecture or technology strategy; experience in governance-related roles is beneficial.
- Good understanding of enterprise architecture methods, architecture governance, IT landscapes, cloud technologies, application architectures and digital transformation topics.
- Solid understanding of AI trends, AI-enabled business capabilities and the implications of AI for enterprise architecture, governance, risk and compliance - without the need to act as a deep technical AI/ML specialist.
- Experience in defining architecture principles, reference architectures, guardrails, standards or governance processes in complex organizational environments.
- Familiarity with regulatory, security, data protection and compliance considerations related to AI, digital technologies or data-driven solutions is an advantage.
- Ability to translate business needs, regulatory requirements and technology trends into pragmatic architectural guidance and decision criteria.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex architectural and governance topics clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders in German and English.
