Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Work within the Quality Team to plan and conduct activities concerned with the quality assurance of industrial processes, materials, and products.
- Plan and conduct analysis, inspection, testing, and integration to assure quality products/components.
- Apply statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate current process and process changes.
- Document data obtained during all quality assurance activities consistent with company policies and procedures.
- Develop new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities.
- Communicate significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provide recommended process improvements.
- Prepare and present technical reports and program information on results of quality assurance activities.
- Maintain a working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards.
What is required for this role:
- A bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering or related field and previous experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment.
- Project management experience required.
- Proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma Practices, and ISO-9001 and 17025 experience.
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification highly desired, Black Belt a plus.
- Proficient in Minitab and MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) skills.
- Problem solving and logical thinking skills a must.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10 percent of the time
- Successfully pass pre-employment drug screen and background check and be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
