Your role and responsibilities

    • Lead and improve safety programs aligned with OSHA and company standards and Support ISO 14001 compliance and environmental management systems.
    • Identify and mitigate hazards through risk assessments, job safety analyses, and ergonomic evaluations and conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance at all levels.
    • Drive incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
    • Deliver engaging safety training for employees and contractors.
    • Manage safety documentation, KPIs, OSHA logs, and reporting.
    • Support sustainability initiatives in energy, waste, water, and carbon reduction.
    • Track and analyze sustainability metrics to drive measurable improvements and Contribute to ESG reporting and corporate sustainability commitments.
    • Collaborate with engineering and operations to integrate safety and sustainability into new processes and projects.

 

What is required for this role

    • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001/45001 standards.
    • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to spot trends and drive improvements.
    • Excellent communication skills and a hands-on, shop-floor-first mindset.
    • Preferred: CHMM, LEED Green Associate, Lean/Six Sigma, or sustainability reporting experience.
    • Experience with Scope 2 & 3 emissions, CSRD, and CO₂ reduction projects.
    • Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental, chemical, or industrial engineering (or related field).
