Main responsibilities:

You will define, coordinate and maintain nature and emission indicators, data models, and reporting systems in close collaboration with internal departments (esp. for Product Carbon Footprint and LCA).

You will develop and implement initiatives related to biodiversity, ecosystems, and nature-related impacts.

You will assess nature-related risks, opportunities, dependencies, and impacts across the value chain.

You will lead and coordinate Double Materiality Assessments in accordance with CSRD and ESRS requirements.

You will Conduct and manage product and process Life Cycle Assessments.

You will Calculate, monitor, and report Corporate Carbon Footprint (Scopes 1, 2, and 3).

You will drive the development and continuous improvement of the company's climate and environmental sustainability programs, supporting the achievement of decarbonization targets and broader sustainability objectives.

You will engage with suppliers and business partners to drive Scope 3 data transparency and value chain decarbonization efforts.

You will coordinate and provide subject matter expertise in Product Carbon Footprint (PCF), Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF), and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) activities in close collaboration with internal departments to support decision-making.

You will serve as the key contact for internal and external audits, assurance activities, and stakeholder inquiries in the area of climate and biodiversity

You will identify, evaluate, and drive sustainability projects and partnerships, including industry association initiatives, external funding opportunities.

You will develop and implement initiatives related to biodiversity-related impacts, and assess associated risks, dependencies, opportunities, and impacts across the value chain.

You will support sustainability due diligence activities, including supplier and mine-site assessments, and contribute to strengthening responsible sourcing practices.

You will monitor relevant sustainability regulations and industry developments.

You will report into the Global Head of Sustainability and as a team you will support the Global Head of Responsibility and related functions with analyses, evaluations, and decision-making tools.
Experience & qualifications:

Completed university degree, e.g., in economics, business administration, sustainability management, economics, environmental science, controlling, data management, or a comparable field.

Minimum 5-8 of professional experience in Nature & Biodiversty, Double Materiality Assessment, Life Cycle Assessment and Carbon footprint Management, ideally in an international environment and precious metals sector.

Excellent English skills; Italian, German is an advantage.
