The primary responsibilityies of this positoin is to effectively and efficiently repair and maintain existing equipment and fabricate and install new equipment in order to meet production goals and expectations on a consistent basis while maintaining compliance with Environmental, Health, & Safety Standards. He/She will be working in a chemical plant setting and will be required to wear various types of PPE as required.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Must follow all SOPs and all written or verbal instructions assigned by supervisor

• Must complete assigned work orders to our quality specification and in a timely manner. All parts used on a work order must be documented for reorder.

• Self-starter to work on assignments with limited supervision

• Motivation to grow skillset

• Good communication skills, required for turnovers as well as across depts to communicate equipment repair status

• Adhere to all safety guidelines and applicable company policies.

• Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work area.

• Ability to work on all types of equipment: pumps, tanks, filter presses, motors, gearboxes

• Ability to work on all types of piping: steel, polypro, cpvc, conduit

What is Required for this Role:

• Maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (Preferred)

• Minor electrical knowledge, preferred

• Utilities knowledge (boilers, cooling towers, compressors), preferred

• Forklift, scissorlift, pallet jack certification

• SAP knowledge, preferred

• Some computer knowledge, preferred
